JEWELRY CARE AND USE RECOMMENDATIONS
Handmade jewelry is made from precious metals and porcelain. These materials are durable, but their surfaces can be affected by environmental factors, chemicals, and mechanical impact. Proper care helps to preserve the aesthetics of the piece for longer.
DAILY USE It is recommended to remove jewelry before:
- bathing in the shower, pool or sea
- while exercising
- while doing household chores
- using cosmetics, perfume, or hairspray
Chlorine, salt, cosmetics and household chemicals can affect the metal surface and accelerate the oxidation of silver. Also, during active activities, the jewelry can experience mechanical shock.
Why does silver darken?Silver naturally reacts with sulfur compounds in the air and can oxidize over time, causing the surface to darken. This is a normal characteristic of the metal and is not considered a defect in the product. Silver oxidation can be accelerated by:
- sweat
- cosmetics and perfumes
- household chemicals
- chlorinated water
- humid environment
Such reactions are natural chemical properties of silver.
How to clean jewelryFor light cleaning, mild products are usually sufficient.
Gentle cleaning- Prepare warm water with a small amount of soap.
- Gently clean the jewelry with a soft cloth or soft brush.
- Rinse with clean water.
- Dry with a soft cloth.
You can also use special cleaning products for silver.

Cleaning silver at homeSilver jewelry can be cleaned with a small amount of regular toothpaste if special cleaning products are not available. It is important to follow a few rules:
- the paste must be free of abrasive or bleaching particles
- it should be applied to a soft cloth or paper towel
- cleaning should be done with gentle movements
After cleaning, the jewelry should be rinsed with water and dried thoroughly.
Abrasive pastes can scratch the silver surface, so their
use is not recommended.
What should be avoided?Jewelry can be damaged by:
- abrasive cleaners
- strong acids or alkalis
- aggressive household cleaning products
- strong mechanical shocks or pressure
Porcelain detailsPorcelain is a ceramic material fired at high temperatures, the structure of which becomes vitrified and very hard. Due to this structure, porcelain is characterized by high strength and durability. However, like glass or natural stone, it is not resistant to strong impacts - if subjected to strong mechanical impact, a porcelain piece may crack or shatter. Therefore, it is recommended to protect jewelry with porcelain elements from falling or impacts.
Jewelry storageIt is recommended to store jewelry:
- in a dry place
- separately from each other
- in a jewelry box or soft case
This avoids surface scratching and unnecessary oxidation effects.
Warranty conditionsThe warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
- mechanical shocks or falls
- misuse
- exposure to aggressive chemicals
- natural silver oxidation process

Jewelry of suitable quality may be exchanged or returned only with the seller's consent.
