In my work form is not fixed – it changes, keeping some visual layers, losing others and gaining new ones. My practice centers on form, surface and the signs that accompany them, through which I explore how a shape changes, the relation between survival and loss, and how personal meaning comes to reside in an object.
Direction I
Form and its mutability
Here form is not fixed – inner and outer impulses act on it, questioning its shape, its relation to its surroundings and what in it remains recognizable.
Shells
Installation. Plaster. 2026.
"Shells" – under the influence of an external system, the human shape gradually loses its individuality, until only its outer form remains: a shell without content.
The work explores what remains of a person when the form is preserved but the content that makes them an individual gradually disappears from within it.
The work was created at the "Aritmija" arts festival in Merkinė; the exhibition space was the Lentpjūvė sawmill.

Steed

"Steed" – a fragmented shape in which the wholeness of a recognizable form is sought in the relation between the separate parts of the body.

Solo exhibition "Topography of human existence", café of the "Rūta" chocolate factory, Šiauliai, 2026 – an authentic site of the city’s history, where the factory’s past, spanning more than a century, overlaps with present-day cultural life.

Sculpture created for the Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Foundation GALA evening, presented at a charity auction in London. The work reflects the "Užsidėk tašką" initiative supporting the foundation's activities.

Listening

"Listening" – two objects meet in a single body, where their junction becomes a measure that reflects a state of being.

Refusing to surrender in advance

The wing motif cuts into the field of vision, creating tension and disturbing the usual relation with the viewer.

Surface memories and traces
Here the surface becomes a place where what has survived meets what has already been lost.
Core
Black porcelain, sculptural plaster, mixed media, 50 × 40 cm. 2026.
A sculptural relief bringing together a fragment of a door leaf, a fracture line and a central axis. At the center of the composition an object resembling a core is highlighted.

The work was created during the Žagarė Jewish heritage art residency "JEWEL Art Residency: Memory & Heritage", on the second floor of the Žagarė Synagogue. It was exhibited in the same space.

Architectural decoration molds I, II, III
Project completed in 2024.
Molds modeled on the surviving decorative details of the Ilzenberg Manor facade and on examples of German masters’ stucco ornament; from these molds, repeat decorative elements were cast to restore the facade decoration of the manor.

A reproduction created after the Gothic heraldic stove tile on display at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.

Miniature as a sign
Here the miniature becomes a concentrated sign – a small form holds a meaning that opens up through personal, associative experience.
Installation of porcelain miniatures
Black porcelain, gold-colored decorative wire. 2023 / 2024.
A cycle of works based on the motifs of the ingredients used in "RAZALIJA" natural cosmetics products. The works were presented in two installations.
