ABOUT THE WORK
A black porcelain necklace made of cubes and silver inserts is a necklace with a rhythmic, clear composition. A matte sequence of dark elements is combined here with one brighter silver accent that focuses the gaze and introduces structural tension.
History
The shape of this necklace is based on repetition. Small, hand-shaped cubes of black porcelain are arranged in a consistent sequence, giving the piece a rhythm close to architectural order. The composition is restrained, but not static: small silver inserts separate the spaces, allow the form to breathe and highlight the structure of the whole.
The material here acts not only as a surface, but also as carrier of meaning. The matte, dark porcelain absorbs light, while the silver reflects it. This contrast does not aim for ostentatiousness. It precisely highlights the dialogue between the two different materials.
One brighter silver element becomes the center of the composition. It does not interrupt the rhythm, but focuses it. As a result, the necklace is read as a sign of posture, inner order, and a restrained but clear sense of individuality.
The black porcelain necklace is marked with an author's mark and assayed at the Lithuanian Assay Office. It is packaged in a black box.
Combination ideas
It looks great with black, gray or white surfaces. Can be worn alone as a clear neckline accent or combined with laconic silver jewelry. Especially suitable for clean silhouettes, a higher collar or an open, architecturally shaped neckline.
